Program Information:

• The learner must commit to the full training period specified in the Learnership contract.
• Preference will be given to applicants from local communities.

About Booysendal Platinum:

• Booysendal Platinum is located on the border of Limpopo and Mpumalanga Provinces near the towns of Mashishing (Lydenburg), Roossenekal, and Steelpoort.
• The mine is situated on the southernmost exposure of the eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex, with 80% of its resources in the Mpumalanga Province.
• The mine operates with a board and pillar mining layout and utilizes trackless mechanized mining equipment.
• Booysendal is a subsidiary of the JSE-listed Northam Platinum Limited, a well-established, mid-tier independent and integrated platinum group metals producer with a strong tradition of innovation and technical expertise in the sector.

Requirements: The successful candidate must meet the following basic requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent at NQF level 4 with Mathematics and Science.
• Grade 12 Mathematics must be passed on Standard Grade (SG).
• Grade 12 Science must be passed on Standard Grade (SG).
